Hi, You can find the result for lsub -v here => http://pcsecure.eu.org/usbtest.txt It's true, this onboard soundcard work as a usb device with the dapper distrib. I read in a suze forum that the same onboard souncard have a usb detection on a suze distrib ... Very strange no ? The problem is than it don't work at all on the Beta edgy 6.10 for the moment... Do you think it would be ok in the futur ? Hello, I have the same problem with an amd64 socket 939. The motherboard is an asrock dual vista. The message is "[17.330722] ACPI: getting cpuindex for acpiid 0x2. When I start boot with -acpi=off, the problem is still the same but the error message doesn't appear.
