[Bug 99167] Re: crash during delete of entry from db
Thanks that fixed the problem! I agree the package in Ubuntu 8.04 is a little dated. -- crash during delete of entry from db https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/99167 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 99167] Re: crash during delete of entry from db
I've had this problem for quite awhile. It was true when using 7.10 and is still true using 8.04. It crashes with a segmentation fault. The last line in my /var/log/syslog says May 17 15:30:37 kfrance-home kernel: [27836.505629] keepass[16944]: segfault at 0039 eip 080667ca esp bfd8d7b0 error 4. I'm would think that it something wrong with the file but I can add keys with no problem, it is deleting entries where it crashes. I can provide more information if you let me know what you want. ** Changed in: keepassx (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New -- crash during delete of entry from db https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/99167 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 165000] Re: Tasks are just "Blank Entries" in the Calander View.
I probably commented too soon. I played around some more and if you right click on the buttons on the very top of the task list you can set what fields are viewable. I had deleted the summary field and the type and completed fields were the only things still around. Hopefully that is noahcain's problem as well. -- Tasks are just "Blank Entries" in the Calander View. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/165000 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 165000] Re: Tasks are just "Blank Entries" in the Calander View.
I have this same problem. I was trying to arrange things and accidentally dragged the bar that said summary on it, right beside the notepad and checkbox at the top of the task panel, off of the task panel and all my summaries disappeared. I can't seem to get them back. visual effects don't seem to change things. I've attached a screen shot. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot of evolution without tasks" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10572924/Screenshot-Calendars%20-%20Evolution.png -- Tasks are just "Blank Entries" in the Calander View. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/165000 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 158463] Re: Profiles don't work properly
I got this to work by using the -no-remote option on the command-line. I don't know if the above operation is the desired operation or not. [Bug 158463] Profiles don't work properly
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox I just moved my profiles I was using under Ubuntu 7.04 to 7.10. I have two profiles, my default profile and another for other tasks. When I open one profile I can't open the other profile simultaneously. I can do firefox -P default and then firefox -P other and the default profile comes up. I deleted all my profiles and profile.ini file and tried with two new profiles I created with the same results. I would love a work around until a fix is released. [Bug 120410] Re: Fiesty freezes when I have a limited internet connection
I left my computer running last night downloading some large files so that it would have some internet activity. I shut off the monitor and when I got to my computer it wouldn't respond. It wouldn't wake up and the monitor just said that there was no signal. In the syslog.0 file however it seemed to be recorded the entire evening. I don't know when it went down but it downloaded quite a bit of this large file so it probably didn't shut down until close to morning. ** Attachment added: "new syslog.0" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/8253597/syslog.0 -- Fiesty freezes when I have a limited internet connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/120410 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I will try and get a syslog where I know the crash happened. I haven't used my computer a ton this week, my wife just had a baby, so I haven't had problems real recently. [Bug 120410] Fiesty freezes when I have a limited internet connection
Public bug reported: I have a fairly poor internet connection at times. Often I have very low connectivity. The network manager will say that I am connected but when I try to pull up any website it will time out before it loads. I believe that network manager is getting nothing more than an ip address. After having a limited internet connection for a little while the whole computer will freeze. I can't hit ctrl-alt-backspace to log out or close any programs. For a little while though I can maximize and minimize windows. That doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me but that is what happens. I have the gnome-monitor on in the task bar and often when the system freezes I see a lot of IO wait. I realize that more information will be needed. Let me know what I can do. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Fiesty freezes when I have a limited internet connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/120410 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 106551] Firefox generates a crash report even though it did not crash
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox Upon reboot firefox reports a crash but firefox didn't crash. This can happen every time if you don't close firefox and shutdown the system as I frequently do. Each time in the task bar I get a crash report that asks me if I want to file a bug. [Bug 94298] eclipse-cdt not compatible with current eclipse
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: eclipse-cdt The eclipse-cdt in my Edgy repository is version 3.0.1-3 and doesn't seem capatible with the eclipse version 3.2.1 that is currently in the repository. After opening eclipse the second time after installing it and the cdt plugin I got the following error: error notifying a preference change listener in a dialog box that kept popping up. After a google search this seemed to be a common problem. I solved it by uninstalling cdt through synaptic and downloading the newest version of the cdt plugin(3.1.2) and uncompressing it over my eclipse install folder. ** Affects: eclipse-cdt (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- eclipse-cdt not compatible with current eclipse https://launchpad.net/bugs/94298 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
