Hi Pseudonymous, This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ . If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report. apport-collect -p linux 479680 Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. I see the information is here after all. I hope it's of some use to someone. The dialog that prompts the user to report the bug/error/crash/whatever it said implies that the whole process will be automatic; when it turns out that you need to create an account to submit the report, if you actually go through with it, you just get a blank form with no indication that there is also hidden information attached to it, and I concluded that something was broken. The error appeared while I was trying to see if Gimp would correctly detect my tablet device (Wacom integrated display/tablet with stylus, part of the Toshiba Satellite R10).
