Sebastien, no problems on karmic, everything is displayed fine. Hi, Jaunty doesn't ship with the new gnome-volume-control-applet by default anymore, but upstream would like to know if you still experience this problem with the latest applet. Because it isn't shipped in Ubuntu, I have build gnome-media in my PPA with the new applet enabled, and would appreciate it if you could test this. So you don't end up with the old mixer applet in addition to the new volume control, and duplicated sound preferences, it would also be advisable to install the versions of gnome-control-center and gnome- applets in my PPA too. -∞ dB is zero on a linear scale. I am unable to reproduce this using gnome-media 2.25.5-0ubuntu1.
