Hello!

Regarding the (complete) failure of the mic-key-test with the last
kernel tested (v3.11.10.6-saucy), I can tell you that the situation
has not deteriorated with the 14.04 Ubuntu-live beta version kernel;
but it didn't get better with it, either.

When started from a stick, the mic-key LED(!) worked (again), as it
does now with the version 13.10 standard kernel, but the key itself
doesn't seem to accomplish anything.

This is a message just to keep things up-to-date.

yes, sorry, it still happens today (Mar 13, 2014), and worse, now it
seems to ignore the MicMute-Key completely, meaning that the LED also
isn't (properly) operated any longer.

The kernel version I used for testing ...

.. was [i386] 3.11.10-03111006-generic #201403120635.

By the way, there was also no change from the regular switch from
version 3.11.0-17 to 3.11.0-18 recently, but here the LED still works.
