[Bug 1460164] Re: upgrade of openvswitch-switch can sometimes break neutron-plugin-openvswitch-agent
The neutron code does make some attempts to monitor the state of openvswitch - a restart of the ovs database process should be detected by the agent, and appropriate action taken. Having the agent detect and respond to the status of openvswitch and the flows its managing should be the right approach to dealing with this situation; I believe that this part of the codebase has improved since Icehouse, so we'll take a look, do some testing and see whether there are some cherry-picks we can make for Icehouse to improve resilience. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1460164 Title: upgrade of openvswitch-switch can sometimes break neutron-plugin- openvswitch-agent To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/neutron/+bug/1460164/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1527557] [NEW] On laptop with dual monitor the additional monitor scrolls down both diaplays when set above the built-in monitor
Public bug reported: I'm running a 15.10 64 bits ubuntu I have a nvidia GTX 965M graphic chipset with nvidia-358 drivers (had the same issue with nvidia-352) How to reproduce: 1. Plug in additional monitor 2. In system settings, configure the additional monitor so that it is above the built-in monitor Expected behaviour: Two different desktop (?) should appear on each monitor and the mouse should move from one to the other when reaching the limit of each display. Observed behaviour: When the mouse is in the built-in (bottom) display, both screen show the same image / desktop. When moving the mouse cursor beyond the limit of the built-in display, the image on the second (top) monitor scrolls up until it shows the second desktop. When moving the mouse cursor back to the built-in (bottom) display, the image on the top monitor scrolls down until both monitors display the same image. [Bug 1527560] [NEW] No way to edit existing bookmarks
Public bug reported: The current UI (both narrow and wide modes) doesn’t allow editing existing bookmarks. One can delete existing bookmarks, and in wide mode one can drag a bookmark to another folder, but the URL/title of a bookmark cannot be changed. We need a UI for that. One concrete use case is lastpass bookmarklets (see bug #1506836 for details): lastpass provides a bogus URL which needs to be edited (to remove an 'android:lpfill?' token from the start) to create a valid bookmark. ** Affects: ubuntu-ux Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: webbrowser-app (Ubuntu) Importance: High Status: Triaged ** Also affects: ubuntu-ux Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1527560 Title: No way to edit existing bookmarks To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-ux/+bug/1527560/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1506836] Re: LastPass bookmarklet not supported in ubuntu-touch browser
What you’re describing here is a bug in the TextField component used by the browser for the address bar. I verified that the field actually contains the entire URL, despite not allowing to scroll through it (if you long press to show the context menu, then select all, then copy, and paste it into another app, you will see the entire URL). So a bookmark to that page with a bogus address can be added, however the current UI for bookmarks doesn’t allow editing the URL of a bookmark, so that bookmark cannot be "fixed". I filed bug #1527560 to track this as a more generic issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1506836 Title: LastPass bookmarklet not supported in ubuntu-touch browser To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/webbrowser-app/+bug/1506836/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1526537] Re: blk_update_request: I/O error
Marcin, the next step is to fully commit bisect from kernel 3.13 to 4.2 in order to identify the last good kernel commit, followed immediately by the first bad one. This will allow for a more expedited analysis of the root cause of your issue. Could you please do this following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBisection ? Please note, finding adjacent kernel versions is not fully commit bisecting. Thank you for your understanding. [Bug 1527666] Re: lxc on Wily cannot dist-upgrade Xenial
Correction. [Bug 1527666] [NEW] lxc on Wily cannot dist-upgrade Xenial
Public bug reported: This affects 1.1.5-0ubuntu0.15.10.3 on Wily. I believe it also affects 1.1.5-0ubuntu0.15.04.3 on Vivid. Downgrading to 1.1.4-0ubuntu1 fixes it, so it does not affect 1.1.4-0ubuntu1 on Wily. My failure case is that I am running adt-run --apt-pocket=proposed -U with adt-virt-lxc and a test needs to upgrade systemd in the container which fails in the postinst. I think this comes down to lxc being unable to dist-upgrade xenial-proposed. I created the container with: sudo lxc-create -n xenial -t ubuntu-cloud -- -r xenial -T http://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/xenial/current/xenial- server-cloudimg-amd64-root.tar.gz -F Reproduce with: adt-run -U --apt-pocket=proposed libapache2-mod-perl2 --- adt-virt-lxc -es xenial Expected: test pass (or fail for unrelated reason) Actual: test fail due to: Processing triggers for systemd (228-2ubuntu2) ... Failed to execute operation: Failed to activate service 'org.freedesktop.systemd1': timed out dpkg: error processing package systemd (--unpack): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 Processing triggers for ufw (0.34-2) ... Errors were encountered while processing: systemd E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) blame: libapache2-mod-perl2 badpkg: failed to run apt-get to satisfy adt-satdep.deb dependencies adt-run [15:57:15]: ERROR: erroneous package: failed to run apt-get to satisfy adt-satdep.deb dependencies I tried to reduce the failure case but I'm not sure how to manually activate a trigger for systemd. Workaround: downgrade using: sudo apt-get install lxc=1.1.4-0ubuntu1 lxcfs=0.10-0ubuntu2 liblxc1=1.1.4-0ubuntu1 python3-lxc=1.1.4-0ubuntu1 Presumably the failure case will stop working once systemd lands in the xenial release pocket, but perhaps reconfiguring it would still reproduce? Confirmed since pitti has experienced this as well. ** Affects: lxc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Fix Released ** Affects: lxc (Ubuntu Wily) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to lxc in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1527666 Title: lxc on Wily cannot dist-upgrade Xenial To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/+bug/1527666/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

** Affects: lxc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Fix Released ** Affects: lxc (Ubuntu Wily) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1527666 Title: lxc on Wily cannot dist-upgrade Xenial To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/+bug/1527666/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I don't know how to reproduce this issue. It might be related to the nouveau driver, because after I enabled the proprietary driver from nVidia, I haven't experience the issue. Correction.
