[Bug 798132] [NEW] No icons in Applications Lens
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: unity The first time I launch the Applications Lens after the computer boots, there are no icons displayed on the overlay. There is just a blank, black overlay with the Search Applications box at the top. If start to enter text in the search box, application icons then begin to appear. [Bug 791076] Re: Emacs: choosing normal monospace font in Emacs but gives bold-italic
Hmm it looks like I missed a detail there: it seems the switch from 'Ubuntu Beta Mono 21' to 'UbuntuBeta Mono' also means I went from 79 to 74 lines on a 24 display (aka 1920x1200, taking into account that I leave some empty space at the bottom of the screen). Is this caused by a change in the font itself or a spacing issue between lines (which may be not come directly from the font) ? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/791076 Title: Emacs: choosing normal monospace font in Emacs but gives bold-italic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/emacs/+bug/791076/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 793466] Re: unity does not work anymore !
Probably your GPU doesn't support the level of hardware acceleration required by Unity. But to confirm that, we'd need more debugging information from your system. Could you kindly run apport-collect 793466 in a terminal so that the appropriate debugging info gets attached to this report?
