Dear All i have a primitive accounting software written on DOS with fox as a database. The software is running on a windows 98/ xp PC. I want to connect to the software using dos. In windows, we map the drive as x: Then we go to the desired folder say x:/data1 and execute our files. Kindly advice if anyone has used something similar. [ubuntu-in] controller web access
Dear All thanks for the number of replies to my earlier query for firewall. it seems i am mistaken and asking the wrong question. let me rephrase my question so that i get the required answer. i have an office in which there is a network of 5 PC's. i am planning to give them access to the internet. i would like to stop the missuse of the net and hence allow access to only a few website. these rules should apply to only those 5 PC. my computer which is connected to the same router should access to an unrestricted web. i hope my question is clear. please help.
