Re: [ubuntu-marketing] Marketing Team Members
I was the most vocal about being kicked "w/o notice". however I recognize the need to prune both launchpad and most definitely the wiki entries. There are about 15 of us active now and many of the early leaders have unfortunately been diverted to other priorities. (thanks for adding me back in btw) With the greatly increased traffic on this (and other Ubuntu) list(s), I would like our team leads to please consider some mechanism (launchpad maybe) to announce meetings and changes that stick out from the normal pile. Pretty please with sugar on top. :-) 48 hours lead time on drastic measures would be helpful. I seem to be 24+ hours behind the rest of you. Thanks, Joey Jan Vancura wrote: > Matthew Revell wrote: > >> On 29/06/06, Jan Vancura <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> >> >> I'm sorry to labour the point, but I can't see the part where we >> agreed to prune the Launchpad list. But we agreed to _remove_ the wiki list, and prune "the memberlist". Now I admit that it hasn't been specified there which memberlist was meant, but IMO it is quite clear that "the memberlist" is the one in launchpad, as it is larger, in launchpad and has the mentioned 70 people on it. If this caused anyone to nod to a decision they didn't agree with, I truly apologize. The damage is done, however, and we now have a clean list of about 20 people, all of whom are active.
