I have found that this method is unreliable: 1. From file browser Nautilus or Nemo, right-click on ISO file. 2. Choose "Open with Brasero disk burner". While this method is fine: 1. Launch brasero from menu 2. Click "Burn image" 3. Select ISO and proceed. I've never investigated why. Thanks for that I've never wanted to burn more than one, so never noticed it. I agree it is bad to leave a long standing bug in a default application - but I couldn't find the bug anywhere in the current Brasero bugs list.
