I have found that this method is unreliable:

1. From file browser Nautilus or Nemo, right-click on ISO file.
2. Choose "Open with Brasero disk burner".

While this method is fine:

1. Launch brasero from menu
2. Click "Burn image"
3. Select ISO and proceed.

I've never investigated why.

Tyler

Just tried on saucy and still present! Should i confirm the bug 'affects
me' or wait for the fix to roll down?

It's a dupe of 907311 and is already fixed upstream.
https://git.gnome.org/browse/brasero/commit/?id=f122ee0620380b7c21edce722cfe347f10c8c827

Needs fixing in trusty and can then be backported to saucy / precise
etc if affected.

Cheers,
Al.

Ah ... Thanks for that I've never wanted to burn more than one,
so never noticed it. I agree it is bad to leave a long standing bug in
a default application - but I couldn't find the bug anywhere in the
current Brasero bugs list.

Hi
This is the exact problem that made me go from default (brasero) to k3b!

Bugs in the default apps should be given priority gives newbies the
impression nothing ever gets fixed! Just my opinion!

I have not bothered to use brasero for so long now I lost count.
I only use K3b
Long standing bugs in default apps give things a bad name..

This is a really old bug, the issue is once the first iso is burnt the
process is never closed (bug in brasero/gvfs) the work around is simply
open a terminal and type killall brasero
