tomcat 6.0.26 can't start server - - can't read server.xml
Has there something changed in the access rights of files tomcat is sensitive about under Windows XP or something? I'm using to move around some config files using cygwin tools like cp or mv. The + in that listing is saying that server.xml.orig has some extra permissions that server.xml hasn't. Windows permissions are not the same as Cygwin permissions. Use Windows tools to inspect the permissions on both files, and use Windows tools to fix the permissions on server.xml.
