I also have this focus problem on the roll button.
It all started with ios 8.
I have experienced it on two phones.  Originally on an iphone 5, and when I 
upgraded to an iphone 6.
I am currently experiencing it on an iphone 6 running ios 8.3.

If I understand what you're saying, I have the same problem in the Mail 
app. If I find the delete button by touch and double tap then I end up 
in the reply dialog. If I get to the delete button by flicking left or 
right then I don't have this problem. I get around it by touching the 
delete button and then doing a flick left. If it says delete then I 
double tap. If it says move then I flick right back to the delete button 
and double tap. I reported this problem to Apple when it first appeared 
in IOS 8, but it might help if others reported it as well.

No, it doesn't appear to. The guy who originally posted it said that any ABC 
show that does have it on TV appears to on the app though, and I think the 
audio description project site from AFB might list most of the shows that 
ABC is doing that will have it.

I tested it after getting the message elsewhere as well. The description 
does work on ABC's shows that have it. If you have a provider that isn't TWC 
and is on their list, the more providers option does let you see a list 
accessibly. Since we just discovered that this works recently, I'm not sure 
if it did work before Netflix added description, but either way, it's nice 
that ABC enabled it.

Hello all,
I was playing around with the various network apps on my iPhone, when I came
across something really cool on the Watch ABC App.

It’s important to preface this by saying that in the Settings, General,
Accessibility section of my iPhone, under the media heading, I have the
“prefer video descriptions when available” option enabled. This will
theoretically automatically play video descriptions when enabled.

In practice, this has done nothing in the past, but when I started to watch
an episode of The Middle on the Watch ABC app, it started playing with
description! I checked the other shows that offer description, and found
that they all play with description now. These include:

The Middle, Nashville, Modern Family, Fresh off the Boat, Shark Tank,
Blackish and The Goldbergs.

There are a few episodes available that don’t have description, but most of
them do.

Anyway, this is huge, folks! I have played with all the other network apps,
NBC, Fox and CBS, and as far as I can tell, ABC is the first to offer
description in their app. I’m so excited that video description is
spreading!

A few small caveats:

The app wants you to verify your cable provider to watch the latest episode
of a show, and aside from the fact that my provider, Time Warner Cable, is
not in the list, the list is inaccessible. There is a list of smaller
providers that I can reach, but it’s not the main list. There are some
control accessibility issues, but I’m sure if we point them out, they can
update the app to fix those issues.

Again, we should definitely thank ABC for making video description available
on their app. They should be nominated for an ADP award for being the first
of the networks to do it. This is so exciting!

name ahead of time. You should just get a message that you're receiving

I tested it after getting the message elsewhere as well. The description does 
work on ABC's shows that have it. If you have a provider that isn't TWC and is 
on their list, the more providers option does let you see a list accessibly. 
Since we just discovered that this works recently, I'm not sure if it did work 
before Netflix added description, but either way, it's nice that ABC enabled it.

I was playing around with the various network apps on my iPhone, when I came 
across something really cool on the Watch ABC App.

It’s important to preface this by saying that in the Settings, General, 
Accessibility section of my iPhone, under the media heading, I have the 
“prefer video descriptions when available” option enabled. This will 
theoretically automatically play video descriptions when enabled.

In practice, this has done nothing in the past, but when I started to watch 
an episode of The Middle on the Watch ABC app, it started playing with 
description! I checked the other shows that offer description, and found 
that they all play with description now. These include:

The Middle, Nashville, Modern Family, Fresh off the Boat, Shark Tank, 
Blackish and The Goldbergs.

There are a few episodes available that don’t have description, but most of 
them do.

Anyway, this is huge, folks! I have played with all the other network apps, 
NBC, Fox and CBS, and as far as I can tell, ABC is the first to offer 
description in their app. I’m so excited that video description is 
spreading!

A few small caveats:

The app wants you to verify your cable provider to watch the latest episode 
of a show, and aside from the fact that my provider, Time Warner Cable, is 
not in the list, the list is inaccessible. There is a list of smaller 
providers that I can reach, but it’s not the main list. There are some 
control accessibility issues, but I’m sure if we point them out, they can 
update the app to fix those issues.

Again, we should definitely thank ABC for making video description available 
on their app. They should be nominated for an ADP award for being the first 
of the networks to do it. This is so exciting!

button with the dice world game.

seems like there is a focus issue.

I have to tap more than once, or swipe away from the roll button and back 
again, before it will activate the roll.

Me and my sister maria, have both experienced this problem, and written to 
the developer. But have never received a reply.

But i mainly play farkle on dice world, so i don’t know about the other games.

until i upgraded to 8.3, i never had this problem.

So I have played with this a lot this weekend. I discovered that you can do 
Skype video on the iPhone 6 Plus. I have it all worked out and have tried it a 
couple of times this weekend. I have discovered that this is better for me 
because I may not have Wi-Fi where I will be at the time of the interview. Now, 
I just have one question. I am going to tell them my Skype name. Do I need to 
have their Skype name in my phone before this will work?

again, before it will activate the roll.

I have the same problem too, I think it is with the iPhone and the operating

Finally, how do I put it from my phone to my wall in FaceBook?

Finally, can anyone suggest decent podcasts which cover some, if not all of 
these points?

Did you press and hold the right hand button until the headphones says
Pairing?  You shouldn't have to do this if they are not paired with
anything!

Be My Eyes

Hi all,

 

I have just registered with Be My Eyes and have tried using the app for the
first time.

 

Having allowed the app to use both my microphone and camera I made a
connection to the first available helper.  I wanted them to read some
cooking instructions for me that were on a ready meal and unfortunately
although they could just about see the packaging when the first connection
was made the screen went black and they could se nothing through the camera.
I disconnected and tried again but exactly the same thing happened.  Can
anyone who uses this app please advise what the problem might be?

I was going to ask the same question since my wife and I are traveling together 
in July. I was hoping I wouldn't have to have two boarding passes for united 
airlines on two different phones. If I can get away with having just on one

Crackle seems to be accessible.  I selected the TV show "Cops" and had no 
trouble getting it to play the selected episode but I've only had the app a 
very short time and I'm not all that big on TV watching anyway.  I'd rather 
read a good book instead.  Still, the app was free so nothing to lose by 
giving Crackle a go.
