Now, if you have more than that, I think you can get to those others by searching for it. when on the home screen, hit the home button and search for it. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of MamaPeach Sent: Friday, November 16, 2012 10:20 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Is there a limit to how many apps you can have on an Ipod touch 4 Yes, you can have 12 folders per page, with 12 apps per folder, and 11 pages in total. Re: Is there a limit to how many apps you can have on an IPod touch 4
Well one is heytell and there were two games. I think they all are all native apps which can be used on any i device. I'll recheck though. Jen -Original Message- From: Victor Marques Sent: Friday, November 16, 2012 11:39 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Is there a limit to how many apps you can have on an IPod touch 4 Hi Jen, It sounds like you may have purchased apps that are iphone specific and that can't run on an iPod Touch. I ran into this problem a while back when I purchased some apps that were iPad specific through itunes and then tried to sync them to my iPod Touch, so this may be a similar situation. You should check the app's compatibility with iPod Touch to see if that's the case, if it is incompatible then you are out of luck and you can use it only on the devices where it is compatible, even if it is in your iTunes library. By the way, I used my app refund allottment when I had this situation because I wasn't aware of this (i.e. contacted Apple support to get a refund). Re: Is there a limit to how many apps you can have on an Ipod touch 4
Yes, but, is there enough memory in any phone or touch for that many apps? Eric On Nov 16, 2012, at 1:38 PM, Sieghard Weitzel siegh...@live.ca wrote: You can actually have 16 apps or folders or a combination of the 2 on each home page, 4 across and on 4 rows. 12 apps per folder is correct, so in theory if you filled all 11 pages with only folders you could have 2,112 apps on your phone in a total of 176 folders. On an iPhone 5 or iPod Touch Fifth Generation which allows for 5 rows of 4 apps or folders it would be 20 apps or folders per page. I don’t have either one, but assuming that if you get 5 rows on your home screen you also get 4 rows in a folder instead of 3, so that would make 16 apps per folder and a total of 220 folders for a grandtotal of 3,520 apps. Now, let’s see, Apple said they have 700,000 plus apps in the app store and I think they said 250,000 or so are for the iPad, so that leaves 450,000 iPhone apps which means you could have almost half a percent of all apps on an iPhone 4/4S and almost 0.8% of that on your iPhone 5.
