Mike, that is the Passcode so that if your phone is stolen, someone cannot
just go off and use it as their own phone.
If you set up a fingerprint, or two, then you can unlock the phone with a
finger print and mostly will not need the passcode except when the phone is
rebooted.

Go into settings, Touch ID and Passcode, and you will have to enter the
passcode, then if you want, you can either add a fingerprint or turn off the
passcode.
I use the fingerprint and set one finger on each hand, just in case.

Mike,
I know sometimes, when I run into this issue, if I do a three finger swipe up,
to scroll below the fields I’m trying to change, then one finger flick left
until I get back to it; sometimes, if you are lucky, it works.

It seems to be a funny focus issue.

Hi All,

I'm trying to turn on 2 factor authentication, but where it wants me to verify
the credit card info I can't update the expiration date. I went to the Apple
website and updated it there and it still won't allow me to put in the correct
expiration date on the phone. I can insert the card number and security code,
but not the expiration date. Apple accessibility wasn't able to help and said
they would call back in an hour, but that was almost 2 hours ago they were
supposed to call. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can update this
information? Or, should I delete all the card info and start from scratch? If
I start from scratch, should I delete and reenter card info on the website 1st?
All help is appreciated. Thanks mooy moocho.

Re: Updating Credit Card Info

2020-05-17 Thread Mike B.
Okay, I was able to verify my 6 digit code works, by accident! LOL LOL

It looks like I'll have to enter this 6 figure code whenever I want to open
Messages, and I don't know what else! Is this the way 2 Factor
Authentication works? I thought entering this 6 figure code was only going
to be done when accessing my iPhone from another device. Would someone
please explain how 2 Factor works? So far it's not working the way I
understood it would. Thanks much.

RE: Updating credit card info

2015-01-08 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Lori,

Sounds like that button with the 3 dots toggles between the regular keyboard
and a phone style keypad except that in this case it sounds like the numbers on
this keypad are unlabeled. I would just switch to More Numbers on the regular
keyboard and enter the Pin that way.

Subject: Re: Updating credit card info

Hi Joseph,

Okay, I have another question related to my credit card information I want to
update. I have my new credit card information stored in my iPassword app.
Like the expiration date and the three number code on the back of the credit
card.

Well I haven't had to go into i password for a while and when I open i
password, there's a keyboard with just numbers to enter my password and I
have a four number passcode I enter to unlock the app so I can get to the
information I want.

It also says please enter your password At the top of the screen on the left
side it says hint and then on the right side of the screen at the top it has
three dots. If I double tap on the first dot the number pad goes away and you
now have nine round circles that look like they repersent numbers from 1 to
9. .

I'm confused here and don't know how I can enter my four didgit code to
ounlock the app so I access the information I want to retrieve.

I had no problems before using this app can you help and give me some
suggestions on what to do to get this working for me again. Have you ever used
i password.?
