Hopefully, your replacement experience will be as easy as mine. I had to have my phone replaced the week the 5s and IOS 7 were released. Without a scheduled appointment, I was seen within 20 min. After telling the person at the genius bar the problem, I signed my nametwice and was on my way within 15 min. It really was quite painless. I thought for sure it was going to be chaos going in the Apple Store that week. You can try a reset. Found under settings general reset are two options. Reset all settings does that but keeps content and media. Erase all content and settings does what it says. Try the former first then the latter. This sounds like a corruption in iOS to me rather than a hardware fault. Good luck. Well i’ve tried both settings, and now my IPhone can’t even determine what country i am in. Well, I had not the same scenario, but something similar! I found today that I couldn't receive mail or tweets and my Wi-Fi was on. Strangely enough, what's my husband had called me on the phone, everything worked again! This is only been a couple of days since I installed iOS 7.0.4 so I can't think of any other reason for this odd behaviour. I will keep watch and look for other people's comments. This doesn't help you much except to say that I think there may be something going on after the last upgrade. You've probably already tried these but just in case; Make sure you are not in airplane mode check to see that location services are turned on check your privacy setting turn the phone all the way off and on finally restore your phone to factory settings after you back it up. I noticed it when i tried to play Papa Sangre II and couldn’t turn to face enemies or doors or whatnot using Gyro mode. Today i tried Blindsquare and got no signal from gps and when i look around i notice compass doesn’t change direction. The strange thing is that everything was fine until i upgraded to IOS 7.0.4. What could possibly be wrong, i really hope it’s not hardware related.
