Anyone out there have problem with firefox not allowing login details to entered (usrenames and passwords) ie. internet banking, fishing websites etc. Is this just a support problem for the individual sites? thanks Lindsay On 13/12/2005, at 12:37 AM, Peter Bull wrote: Thanks for the tip about Firefox guys. I find it more MacCentric and also faster than Firefox in start-up and loading pages with a very small footprint compared to Firefox. Cheers! `Rob...
Firefox 1.5 (was: Re: Safari consuming 100% CPU/RAM in 10.4?)
From: Martin Hill [EMAIL PROTECTED] G'day again everyone, Just wondering if anyone else has been finding Safari starts eating RAM and processor cycles if left running for too long with lots of windows and tabs open? Spinning beachball of death forever. :-( Well, I've switched to the new Firefox 1.5 which imported all of my bookmarks, cookies and history from Safari and it is blazingly fast in comparison to Safari even when opening exactly the same set of 20 or more tabbed web pages. Switching pages, going back and forward between links, loading new pages - all things that caused distinct pauses and the spinning beachball when more than a few pages were open in Safari all now happen instantly. Loading MacSurfer.com is soo much less painful. Looks like Apple is going to have to do a lot of work to lure me back to Safari. -Mart

Looks like Apple is going to have to do a lot of work to lure me back to Safari. Likewise. I grew tired of the beach ball and Safari crashes, its like being on holidays with the new Firefox. I find Camino to be pretty good as well.
