exception with a not null constraint....
I have an EO with a not null constraint on a date columnn. I have a function that I call from a click that sets a boolean (isDeleted) to true and saves the EO. try { contactEO.saveChanges(); } catch (ValidationException e) { NSLog.out.appendln(ValidationException e = + e.getMessage()); } catch (EOGeneralAdaptorException e) { NSLog.out.appendln(EOGeneralAdaptorException e = + e.getMessage()); } } It is throwing an exception and claiming that the date field is null and violates the not null constraint. I don't have anyplace in the interface that is wired to the date column in question (it is the insertion date). I guess I could just set the EO to accept nulls but I thought I would try to understand why the saveChanges() is trying to update the row with a null. Quick Question about WONDER
Hallo, just 1 quick question: When I start a App, that was previously not running under wonder, but now is I have 1 issue: I get a bunch of warnings about missing prototype files. Do I have to use prototypes with wonder or is there a way to get wonder accept that there simply are no prototype files in this app? Regards, Ute ___ Do not post admin requests to the list. Re: Help me choose topics for WOWODC'09
Greetings Chuck, Lachlan, Mike and the gang, There is a fourth topic that I am not sure would be a good topic or not. That would be this notion of embedded data stores like Apache Derby combined with application, service, and framework development/ deployment. Whether the context is in deploying to classic WO Task Managers, Application Server Containers like Tomcat, or Google's Application Server; I think the embedded data store WO powered app would be a wonderful addition to the already proposed test, EOF goodies, and WO Component leveraged through and through. I believe many out there have been there done the tasks with Derby, constructing WO Frameworks, and adjusting WO for container engines. It is a topic I would like to master and use in building the rest of my own dissertation. A little training on these tasks could go a long way. Is there enough interest in a second session? I'd plan to cover: - using TestNG for unit testing (focus on the mechanics of using TestNG vs JUnit) - functional testing with Selenium without using ERSelenium (focusing more on the functional side than on the developer driven side, how to work with the business folks to create functional and acceptance tests) - writing and using extensions to SeleniumIDE and SeleniumCore - generating and interpreting test coverage reports from EMMA - using JMeter to load test WO apps Most definitely testing - esp Mocks etc with EOF. +1 - jfv ___ Do not post admin requests to the list.
