Re: [WestNileNet] Former VP Mustapha Adrisi dies
Indeed the passing of a humble distinguished elder and pillar of wisdom. Even in his later years of retirement, he interacted freely with the simple folks in Arua, and did his part in the elders' peace efforts. Sadly we are slowly losing our granaries of history & wisdom. May he RIP. Patrick Okuni On Jul 30, 2013 4:55 AM, "Charles Male" wrote: > > May his soul rest in peace indeed! May his soul rest in peace indeed! I remember vivdly when he came visit St Charles Lwanga Koboko after returning from a trip to Germany. He brought a soccer ball for the school team. To cap his visit he even made his helicopter pilot to fly our late deputy headmaster plus I beleive some other teachers over Koboko town for 15 minutes or so. The late General Abataki, the late Brig Kili and the late Isaac lumago were real gentlemen. It is sad that their voices were not heard loud enough! Peace be upon thm all! Re: [WestNileNet] Former VP Mustapha Adrisi dies
The late Mustafa was a gentle giant, a gentleman OFFICER and very HUMBLE. He cracked jocks whenever he had an opportunity for and made people laugh out aloud! I had the previlage to meet him when I was the Agricultural officer in charge of tractor hire service for Koboko, part of Terego, Aringa and Obongi. He politely came to my office seeking tractor service from Kerri. He could have as well send one of his soldiers to get the service but he chose to come himself. He laso brought me a present and just called me " agrikacha". He paid for the sevice and requested if I could send tha tractor as soon as possible. No threats, no commands but a REQUEST! What an OFFICER! I visited with him again one lunch time while he was the VP. He acted between his kitchen and his visitors ( us ) just like a regular guy. He brought water for wasing hands and the food. We were surprised to get such personal service from a VP! He did not let his help do the service! He was a TRUE MUSTAFA, the CHOSEN ONE. He treated every body with dignity and respect. May God continue to bless his spirit in Heaven so he can rest in PEACE. We shall MISS YOU Abadaki and thank you for all you did when you were capable.
