The filter logs are enabled:

XMAIL_CMD_LINE="XMail -Ql -Pl -Sl -Ll -Qg -B- -X- -F- -W- -CI 127.0.0.1"

but they show nothing regarding xspamc. Other filters (post-data, in) work
just fine and they are logged:

I think is a xspamc issue but there is no way to debug, maybe Dario could help
here. With 1.24 works just fine, shall I test any of 1.25 pre versions ?

Thanks,
Mihai

Did you have filter logs enabled? What do they show?

Don't worry about those. They come from a man2html translation.

I will setup www.fr.xmailserver.org as CNAME of , where is the
host name that you will give me. Such host name must have a virtual server
that will accept requests for www.fr.xmailserver.org by picking up files
inside your mirror directory.

The site is not big, so I don't need that extra optimization. Plus, I
consume only about 40GB of the monthly 200GB I have ;)

No, I think one is enough. Thanks.

[xmail] xspamc 0.4.4 on 1.25

2008-01-07 Thread Mihai Dobre
Hello,

After upgrading from 1.24, xspamc 0.4.4 (unix) with spamd 3.1.0 on Bluewhite
64 simply refuses to work. As command line is not supported in xspamc, no
debug is available. No message reaches spamd, no entry in XMail or xspamc
logs, the emails just pass through without being examined. According to 1.25
ChangeLog it seems to be no change in message filters or macros. Am I
missing something? Any clue?

Thanks,

Mihai

Davice,

How about (read-only) rsync? I think rsync is even better than HTTP HEAD.
I can host (another) mirror in The Netherlands, but only if you need one.

That's not system dependent, anyone can use it and I think that in most
cases it will be easier to tweak generic software or component to create
RFC822-compatible message format, than Xmail's own.

You're right that it'll be trivial to create some utility to do the
conversion etc. But it's not so simple in real world to install and
manage it. It's another service you need to control, maintain and
monitor.
