My laptop is nearly three years old and still works perfectly fine. However,
the alt key needs fixing. I have to press it twice as hard and several times
in order to get it to work. Can something be done so that the key behaves
normally again, except taking the computer to a shop for

I haven't tried repairing or fixing my laptop so far. But I think it is
filled up with dust or moisture. If you have an air compresser or a vacuum
cleaner, try with that first. If that doesn't work, go for an external
