Hi, Pranav, The strange naming of NVDA in the Control Panel, probably, according to a reported bug, is due to the Focus Highlight add-on. I am guessing that you have it installed, in which case, you may want to restart NVDA with add-ons disabled and then check the Control Panel to see what NVDA is

Hi Siddhi, I do not have a direct answer to your question. However, use the windows volume control to adjust NVDA's volume and you should not have persistency issues. I do this all the time on my home and work computers; both machines run windows 7. Pranav Register at the dedicated
