@27, nice rant. One could argue that each Linux distribution is an operating system, because it does provide the fundamental execution environment for application software. But your point is well made in that he didn't "make" many operating syst

No what I'm after is building the packages on other distros, not Arch ones. So can I get the games/Dosbox on other distros on Linux? Forget Arch or Genux, that is /not/ what I am asking for.E

I'm more interested in the DOS emulation and PCS things however, rather than audiogames. That's what I'm after. Hell if somebody ever converted talking Dosbox to Linux I'd be al over that

Re: Genux OS: My thoughts

I tryed that, but it didn't work unfortunately. The rhvoice-test program says something like can't open shared object file libRHVoice.so.4: no such file or directory.sorry if I'm not explaining enough, I can't copy the text in flat review mode, so can't paste
Re: Genux OS: My thoughts
You need to build RHvoice from Github is why, the apt packages are out of date, if you're using the PPA I'm thinking of.Essentialy, install the dependancies, scons, sudo scons install, and either restart speech-dispatcher or your whole system
