W E L L S L A P M Y H E A D ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Having run the network analyzer all afternoon and seeing no glitches, and having no LONG Ethernet cables on hand I decided to have a CLOSE look at my system wiring. Silly me I found a BAD BNC to phono adapter in the digital circuit.

If the Transporter output buffer runs out of data (e.g. due to network issue) then there will be a buffer underrun signalled. Are there any messages in the server.log ? Can you attach a DAC to digital output to test to see if the problem is in the analog output stage ?
