cotton sheet will help with a more familiar texture. Don't make a big deal
out of it, maybe toss some treats on there.
My guys took a little to figure it out and then loved them.

Mine seek out the a/c registers and lie on them, but I've seen those
too and wonder if anyone has tried them?
We have the extra large size for my big boy Porter.

However, make sure you buy a waterbed patch kit as
they can put holes in it very easily - it's
non-toxic(the dogs like to use it as a wrestling mat
