[CentOS] priority plugin and httpd/php

Hello, I'm running centos 5.3 with the priority plugin enabled. One of my 3rd party repos has updated httpd and php packages that i want to get, however it won't overwrite the base packages of httpd* and php* since they were installed from base. How can i update just these specific packages

I recommend a highly secured master that is not queried by any clients (preferably in a network/vlan your clients can't even access)... then configure one-way zone transfers to 2 or more slave servers which you configure your clients to point to. Maintain your zone files in rcs of some sort... For
