It was Norton _just_ on my dev box. Never did figure it out. Other apps had
no issues w/ saving to a network share.

is that the oldest file is 6/2. Apparently I average *exactly 1024

WOOO! I think I figured it out.
I had auto-backup files on save. I disabled that and its saving super fast
now. Does that work for you?

yada) simply saving .cfm files in Homesite 5.2 to a local hard disk has a
4-5 SECOND delay. It's driving me crazy. My age old routine of ctrl-s
alt-tab ctrl-r has changed to ctrl-s wait... curse wait alt-tab
