Hi, I have a possible solution for for your radiator trouble. I have a

the core top & bottom. These are great improvements over the rads from

BTW, the under-hood lights that you see on ebay all the time can still be
purchased through your GM dealer. These replacements have a longer wire than
the originals, so if you want it to look technically correct, you have to
shorten the wire.

Hello List,
Hello List,
Our car is spec'd on the build sheet to have a under hood light. We bought
a repro unit and need to know it's mounting location and the electrical
hookup. We been through the Chevelle Resto Guide and the 72 Service Manual
and can't find this info.
Thanks again to all who answere
Rocky,
No, I guess that never came to mind.most of the service I've gotten at those kinds of places has never really struck me as knowledgeable. But between what info I've gotten here and some web pages I've been linked to, I was able to convert the 6.95 X 14 to a F78- 14 to a 205/75/1

There is a wiring diagram here: http://www.chevelles.com/techref/ftecref14.html
When you look at the picture that shows the back of the alternator, the yellow (white
on your car) goes to the #2 connection.
Do you have a meter? What are you reading across the battery with motor off?
