Disconnect and plug the hose that connects to the vacuum advance canister when setting ignition timing. Yes, it definitely sounds like you're running lean. Have you checked for vacuum leaks? I don't know how expensive vacuum hose is for you but you might want to consider fresh hoses. If

Most automotive carpets are supplied by only afew companies: Collins Aikman; HP Pelzer, Reiter Automotive, Guilford Mills, and Lear Masland. My guess would be Guilford Mills but it could be any of them. I have never heard of a "distributor" that I know of - I think everyone gets their

[Chevelle-List] Seat belt buckles

I recently posted aquestion on dying seatbelts. I would also like to clean and oil all the buckles. I don't want to experiment with them and cause damage so can anyone tell me how to dismantle the buckles. They are buckles from a 68 Chevelle. Thanks for any help... Craig
