By "focus" I mean the same as "click to focus" and "focus follows mouse" in
window managers: The focused element receives keyboard input.

Suggestion: First a key to "focus" the nudge slider ('n'?), then left/right
arrow keys to change the value. There must be an obvious visual feedback to
