When I left my last job (one that I liked) for this one, my boss gave me a
nice poster. It is a picture of a basketball court and to the bottom it
says:
You will always miss 100% of the shots you don't take...
I believe that statement says it all.
Good Luck and I hope it all works out for you.
I know you can set it to reload at a certain time, with the reload at
command, but that will only allow you a quick reload. I use it all the time
when I upgrade the IOS on the switches. Then I set them to reload during the
middle of the night...

I went though the version 1 of Semester 5 and there was so much info dumped
on you, you have to be dedicated to studying the material and put forth the
effort to keep up. This one is definately not a blow off class.
I did pass the 640-503 so I am not sure what the 603 test is like.

Give him a modem..
Does he have one IP address?
I believe you should be able to rate limit that one address. Just setup your
access list for his address or range...
Just a guess.

Any particular intel motherboard?
Sure, I guess my other posts didn't make it to the list.
Here is some more info.

seem to work better)

NO, It has to be the one from Cisco. I had purchased the 16meg Pix flash
upgrade and had the old Cisco Pix 2 MB flash card left over. That is what I
am using in this home-built Pix.

I don't know about the Lucent stuff, but I installed some Cisco Aironet 340
series equipment last summer (99), and I have not had one trouble call at
all. These are used constantly for classes and haven't had one probem. In
fact I almost forgot we had them installed. You can't beat that :-)
Believe if I could find the info it would be here. All I found on the
newsgroup search was to search for Franken-Pix. If I find out any info it
will be posted here so we can stop with the me-too's. I am sure he is
overwhelmed now and hopefully he posts the info soon.
