I have a problem with a certain vlan on our network. The problem goes
something like this...
I have a vlan105 interface created on a cat 6509. The primary ip address is
x.x.105.254. The interface has secondary addresses of x.x.155.254,
x.x.156.254 and x.x.157.254.

I had a similar problem once. I have redundant supervisor modules with
msfc's
in the 6509 and had to reboot one of the msfc's in the switch. The reboot
fixed the problem.

Have you checked the routing of this VLAN, if it's consistently dropping 50
% of
something that has not been addressed are the NICs in the servers. Compaq
server NICs are particularly bad when using redudant links. It is best
advised that you disable the heartbeats on those puppies and possibley
reboot the server after doing so.
