FWIW, Brightside works fine for me for bootstripe.
I can easily touch up any scars in the bootstripe each spring and PoliGlow
does an amazing job of making
coat.

original (gelcoat?) and badly faded/oxidized. I have three stripes, blue,
blue and red. The red is actually vinyl tape and I've ordered one of those
3m stripe off wheels
I second the Interlux Perfection option.
As part of my extensive Renovate the finish of the entire boat from the
keel to the decks project I am re-doing the boot stripe with Perfection in
the bright red color. It looks like it's going to be super durable, it's
epoxy like when it hardens.

want is 3M Fineline. It is a plastic masking tape that is made just for
that purpose. You can get it at any auto body supply store. It is
pricy, so only use it
