Near the Soda Lakes boat launch, in the scrub around the parking lot, we found
an immature female Blackburnian Warbler and two Nashville Warblers among the
many Yellow-rumps. Bullocks Orioles, Yellow Warblers, a House Wren, grackles,
robins, red-wings, among others.

Just back from my Colo Spgs CBC site. My area includes "Section 16"
and the Palmer Trail, in the foothills and cliffs above the Bear Creek
Nature Center on the SW side of Colo Spgs. The Douglas Fir are loaded

Today, 25 birders participated in the 20th Bear Creek Park spring bird count in
Colorado Springs. A species count of 86 was a record, and 13 warbler species
