if you go to /usr/share/ as root and do ln -s applnk-mdk/.hidden
applnk-mdk.hidden the screensavers will work.. no other solution worked for me.

is this just using vncserver for a new X session or using rfbdrake to
share out the :0 display? I was able to get tightvnc to work fine with
Gnome and KDE just today
