Same problem here with mdk9.2rc2 . All my fonts are working fine except in The
Gimp where only about half of them seems to work.

Just dl'ed all your packages and did 'rpm -Uvh *.rpm' and everything updated

Ok, I tried using snd-emu10k1 with audigy - and I actually got sound. When I
rebooted the computer sound was gone... I'm now back with my onboard soundcard
(which actual

umount: /mnt/cdrom2 : illegal seek
*system hang - I had to do manual reset*
End of story. I don't know who/what is to blame here but a buggy cd shouldn't be
able to wreck this kind of havok.

No. I just did and now flash is playing graphics -- haven't tested sound yet. Is
it because libstdc++2.10 is installed by default in mdk91 ? I guess it should be
