Don't know what Luis's problem was, utuhiro's was probably lack of support for
ifplugd/mii-tool etc in the Realtek 8029 cards (all using the ne2k-pci driver?).

The problem still exists in ML9.1 RC2.
Again, Installing dhcpcd solves the problem. The sistem now recognizes the network.

This has been fixed in the latest dhcp-client post rc2. Installing dhcpcd is
just a workaround. Please upgrade to the latest dhcp-client and try again.

I use Realtek RTL8029(AS) and I cannot connect to the internet.
It works well on mdk9.0, but I can't use it on latest cooker.
acpi=off and pci=noacpi are meanless.
