After installing 82beta4, installing two RPMs post install, and then
doing some config changes, I got rpm segfaults.
It turns out that RPM is segfaulting if ldap is listed before files in

Yeah, I had an unfortunate happening this weekend that resulted in a crapload
of bad rpm's that caused this same problem. For whatever reason my local
mirror of sunet via rsync decided one run that it had to download almost

the process of update my Mandrake 8.0 system with a
lot of the packages from the Mandrake cooker. However
at some point I seem to have broken rpm I think.
When I type the following command :
urpmi -v kdelibs-devel kdelibs

Hi,
the current rpm package segfaults on real i586. Reproducable on
a Intel Pentium 166MMX and a Cyrix MediaGX (Geode) Processor.
I get a core file - so anyone's interested in gdb output..?
It seems to work fine on i686+
maybe an optimization problem ..?

return shortly afterward.

segfaulted. (rpm-4.0-22mdk installed)
I can do -ivh and -Uvh without problem.
