What I did : (my ide doesn't support DMA) To run in 32bit mode instead of 16: I created an exec. file /etc/rc.d/init.d/disk32 contains: hdparm -c 1 /dev/hda hdparm -c 1 /dev/hdb (have 2 hd's) Selected it to start-up at boot. Eric MC Chmouel Boudjnah wrote: "J . A . Magallon" [EMAIL
