Okay, I had to start portmap by hand as it was also not running. Then fam started, but this has no influence on my problems with gnome. Still there is no text and the panel doesn't start. The only thing left in .xsession-errors is --- gnome-panel: relocation error /usr/lib/libgen_util_app

Hi. The whole weekend I'm trying to upgrade from Gnome2.0 to 2.1. Meanwhile I think I've installed most of the cooker RPMs, but it looks like there's still something missing, as I've no text anymore in any windows, on the desktop or in any dialogs. Also the panel gives up after several fails o
