Lack of write access to the override files on ftp-master. :-)
Everything else should fall out from that, so only a ftpmaster is

Hi all,
As you know there is currently a problem with loop-aes as the 2.6.17 debs
are wanted in testing to go with the current kernel, but they are blocked
by the udebs from the same source package which should stay at 2.6.16
because of D-I Beta1.
Max has been working on repackaging so the ude

You don't say which version of the installer you are using...
Is it the Sarge version, or the Etch Beta1 release, a weekly build or a
daily build?

Hello,
before I burning the DVDs I examined successfully the ISOs with:
"md5sum -cv debian-testing-i386-binary-*number*.iso".
With ALL Debian Etch DVDs fails the integrity test.
I used the actual 3 DVD-ISOs from Debian Etch 2nd Oct. 2006 with the
expertgui-Mode.

The only thing I anticipate causing any problem is the added size to the

Hello,
I want to encrypt my whole debian installation (/, swap, everything)
using loop-aes.
Also, I want a software-raid1 for data security. As I will have at
least a root and a home partition, I wanted to try the following
using partman during the installation.
