The upstream author did answer:
Use alloca is wrong, since it could be overwritten when pam_get_data is
called. The correct fix would be to replace alloca with malloc.

for it. I'll try and get RC3 in to the svn repo and uploaded to

I had much better luck using the chan_capi-cm-0.6.1 code from

Formatting the disk from VC2 makes no difference, and gives no errors
during the formatting. Waiting for the cache to be flushed after formatting
for some 10s of minutes also makes no difference.

Is there some sort of autoconf trickery we could use upstream to check if
the gnu linker is present and fall back on curl-config if it i
same size in blue on my screen. The blue square is only visible on the
Workspace where I start-it.
When it's not clear I can send a screen shot of this region of my screen.

The genext2fs upload I am preparing fixes the permission problems. It
is current upstream cvs which is similar to what the upcoming 1.4
release will be.
The new version uses a new device table format. It looks to me like
debian-installer does not use the device table (instead it uses
mknod/devfs

So it's may be a source difference between the 2 versions, as they were
compile with the same libraries.

We just installed this package on an Ubuntu 5.10 system out of Debian
unstable, and this bug still appears to be present.
Also:
1) The icon is broken.
2) There is no README.Debian explaining how it's integrated with the system.

The most likely culprit is if you're running darcs apply from a mailer.
Mailers generally modify the umask before piping to an external command. I
have an entry like
macro pager A "(umask 022; darcs apply --no-test --repodir ~/darcs)
in my .muttrc to work around this "feature&qu
our /dev directory. Do you have a
/dev/input/mice file? Is it readable? Have you installed something like
udev or devfs?
