I fixed this in CVS now by not appending a footer if the message is
base64 encoded. This should keep things working. For EoC 2, we
elps
write rscheme.
I suspect Donovan will have a fix for the RC Bug (FTBFS against alpha).
I wont be RFA'ing this for very long before I orphan it. Say end og
january.

A data point: I tried this with an etch chroot, and also with

Attached is flac.diff, which turns the warnings about unexpected EOF
into errors, so that --delete-input-file doesn't delete the input file
if there is something suspicious going on.
I'm not going to NMU this immediately, but I may do that later.

Am I correct in assuming this patch contains all the changes necessary
for closing #339056, #343138 and #320551?
How's your maintainer application coming along and have you received any
feedback on the question of package removal?

I looked at reproducing this bug (not being the maintainer, merely working on
release critical bugs in general). I crea

Actually, it does, but only in the DESCRIPTION part. It should be

Erich filed a wishlist bug, with a patch, to make EoC use different exit
codes than before for certain situations. This has been mentioned
before, and I like the idea. My only worry is whether it is too big a
behavioral change to do for a 1.2 release.
