When I assign the 'F6' key to the 'Step Over' action, pressing 'F6' does

Indeed, with version 2.41-2 of libesd-alsa0,
the socket is created in /tmp/.esd-`id -u`,
while in version 2.36-3 the socket is created in /tmp/.e

Some investigation:
The /etc/alsa/init.d script calls the start() function
with parameter "0" and exits because
/proc/asound/card0 and /proc/asound/0 don't exist
(/proc is mounted by the way)
