I have the same problem with HP DeskJet 610C. I use the workaround:
chmod o+rw /dev/lp0
but it get's reset by the udev on every reboot.

Like already in subject said: When I connect to localhost:631 only this
statement is standig next to the printer and printing is impossible. In
win everything works fine, like it had with the old version of cupsys.
