Well, I was affected by another bug (44487) that stop to configure some
other packages in the upgrade process. I have take around this another
bug and now Gnome start and all programs works ok, so I close this bug.

I have turned off the esd sound daemon (from suggestion in bug 40176)
and gnome loads ok. But some programs doesn't work, for instance:
firefox and epiphany.

Well, I did a clean breezy install and all works ok. Maybe a hoary ->
breezy upgrade issue only.
