I love my Signalink. It effectively doubled my Winmor data rate.

You know... more traffic means more DXs for everybody.

I have been using the USB Signalink with an FT817 and an old Kenwood TS-140
for the better part of a year, and am very satisfied with its performance.
It was easy to set up (you need a separate cable for each rig, and need to
reconfigure some jumpers) and works very well with my Mac laptops
What the SignaLink has going for it over the Nomic (which is what I own)
is a built in sound card. Thus, you do not have to fuss with trying to
share a sound card w/your system. i.e. listen to the popular digital
frequencies and your bound to hear a windows "Ding" message now and

Alex,
I saw your post on QRZ.com about the software and gave it a try, I do
like it, however, I'm confused as to why you are promoting it so much?
You are not the author, right? Did you acquire the rights to it or
something? Seems like you joined the group to post this message?
Just curious,
IIRC, KISS mode should be used completely under software control. IOW, the
software puts the TNC into KISS mode and takes it out of KISS mode. KISS mode
is not really for manual operation, the software you use in KISS mode
determines what the TNC does and how it does it.

I think you might be confusing baud rate with frequency shift. Not the same.
In entering the mode, you can enter mode,(selectables). For instance, for HF
RTTY you can select difference baud rates, so you might enter
MODE HB,45 or
MODE HB,75
But for HF packet there are no selectables, s

Hi all
JT65-HF is the only software for JT65A mode that can decode simultaneous
signals every minute.
By other JT65A you can decode only the strongest signal every minute.
So by JT65-HF you don't lose the small signal when 14076 is busy and it's
easier to work DX or QRP stations.
