I would like to add a top level menu item to control synchronization.
How can I do this?
Also, is there a way to automatically sync or unsync at certain times?
For instance, I'd like the Radio to turn on by itself at a certain

that I can add streaming stations and have them just play for 90

Which has led me to a new problem. I jumped through the latest XM
online hoops and it does work...BUT...now it kicks me out after about
an hour of play

HD2. It works great, however I see SlimCtrl requires Squeezebox Server

create a CD from this and install into an old PC via the CD drive. It
will totally wipe the harddrive of the PC so make sure you have copies

Thanks, I'd done all that and it just Didn't Work. Now I try it today
and it works fine on both my Squeezebox Classic and my Radio; no other
changes. Hm...
Yesterday it just wouldn't show up on my SBC menu, and the Radio said
it had been registered on some one else's mysqueezecenter account

That may have been the case. I tried once again--this time I watched it
closely (bad eyes--that's why I have the Duet remote). The update
progress bar was very dim so at some point I hit the Brightness button
& it came on full. It seems to have completed the steps and I again
have tunes.

May sound too obvious, but have you checked that brightness is not set
at its lowest value (i.e. off) on the Classic?
AFAIK, this setting only applies when the Squeezebox is connected to
its server, which could explain why you see some startup messages...

Every time I cycle the power it gets to the "Obtaining an IP Address"

an Ipad is not a replacement for your NAS. It won't run
SqueezeboxServer, which is what you need. (although the ipad will run
ipeng or squeezepad which are excellent controllers for your SB
system!)

Looks a bit like Apple doesn't do reviews on weekends anymore.
I submitted the two iPengs a few hours apart last week, iPeng for
iPhone was reviewed and accepted Friday and iPeng for iPad is still
