floorboard lifting extravaganza.
I will hard wire the SB3 back into the router - and if necessary the
lap top as well.
I will report back - I really do understand all this a whole lot better
and my gloom has somewhat lifted.

Do you mean, please, wire the Laptop -> SB3 direct, or wire the Router
-> SB3?
