A friend of mine picked up a PS-7 with an apparently blown power
transformer (shorted primary), Anyone got one? Rewinding?

Is there anything sacred about a 1N295? "K4RV"
Typical GE I suppose except perhaps for the 500 mA surge.
But I know they work correctly and that's sometimes what counts.
