20m, and when I couldn't I switched to 30M as I was using a 30M MFJ

the car for ground and gave Steve a call, but no joy. I came inside and

In my experience, often the primary source of computer RFI is the router
and the cables connected to it. I have to turn off my router and modem
if I want to operate on HF from the same room as the computer. No
problem with the computer itself.

Largely the issue of RFI can be more related to antenna location and the
radio/computer location. The closer the two are the more problems are
likely to arise. The signal strength at a specific location is defined by
the inverse square law. Double the distance and the RF field decreases by a
Thanks for the info. That is exactly what I was looking for. I will go

Check the menu for MIC SEL when the K3 is in DATA A mode. If it is set

Phil, is this the case for all bands, or just 2m? If it's all bands, make sure
that the little cable that connects the K3 IF buffer to the rear panel
connector is seated properly. Also, make sure all the applicable modules are
enabled in Setup.

Last night I started setting up PSK31 using HRD and DM780.
I am using an older Lenovo T60p computer in a port replicator, running

The latest beta firmware has separate EQ for CW. I would like to have it for
